I’m a journalist based in Starkville, Mississippi

I am the Mississippi State Athletics Beat Reporter for the Commercial Dispatch in Columbus, Mississippi, covering all things Bulldog sports.

I am a 2026 alum of Western Kentucky University’s journalism program and a product of WKU’s award-winning newspaper, the College Heights Herald. I served a variety of positions at the Herald, filling the roles of sports reporter, sports editor and editor-in-chief.

I’ve worked for publications all across the Bluegrass: the Lexington Herald-Leader, Louisville Courier-Journal and Bowling Green Daily News.

My work has been submitted for the National Hearst Competition through WKU’s School of Media. Reporting on WKU’s subsidies to its athletics programs earned me the 2024 and 2025 Jon Fleischaker Freedom of Information Award from the Kentucky Press Association
